After much contemplation the Thread brief will no longer be created. Although is was a promising project, myself and the rest of the group didn't realise how much time and effort it would take to create it, along with gathering information, designing and sourcing printers.
With our own briefs and studio set briefs we started to loose time to produce the magazine when we initially wanted to. Even with time management the brief was still a big task for us all.
What skills have you developed through this brief and how effectively do you think you have applied them?
I think my research skills have developed in actually going on visits to find out further information about magazines, visiting village and colours may vary was really insightful to see whats out there in the market and how we could of interpreted it.
What approaches / methods of design production have you developed and how have they informed your design development process?
N/A
What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these?
I think the strengths within this brief was the overall concept, Leeds is lacking a modern and directed magazine about the city. Although the brief in incomplete it was a fun task researching and visiting magazine shops for inspiration, which heightened my knowledge in print finishes, layout and styles.

What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these in the future?
The weaknesses in this brief was evidently not completing it and realising the scope and time it would take to produce.
Identify things that you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing these?
