BRIEF 06: GROUP MEETING 01 + RESEARCH

Today we had our first group meeting where we discussed what we could potentially create and look into, we decided that we should all go away collate research and propose mini concepts to one another and see which ones we like best to apply to our final idea. We also created a list of suggestions on what style and tone of voice we could focus on for the brief.

Brief

I started my research by breaking down the brief and highlighting the main themes in which I could focus on.

By outline the brief and the suggestions given by the group I aim to create a concept that is transferable to all cities but has a defining factor that tells them apart but maintaining a professional and modern aesthetic.


Pinterest

I decided to set up a group Pinterest board also so that we could share visual ideas on what we could include also.

HS3

The project, dubbed High Speed 3 (HS3), would cover an east-west section of northern England - across the Pennines - and would be in addition to the north-of-Birmingham phase two of HS2 which will see a Y-shaped route going to Manchester and Leeds.
Train services running between Liverpool and Hull will also be upgraded under the new plans, while journeys between Leeds and Birmingham, Leeds and Sheffield Meadowhall, York and Birmingham, and Nottingham to Birmingham could also be slashed by half or more.

Overview

Today the group meeting was easy for us to identify some quick initial ideas of how we could look at the brief, with more visual research and personal idea generation this will allow us to have quite a wide scope on how we can present the brief for DBA.
