BRIEF 09: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Colour

With the Whistles branded guidelines being predominately black and white, we felt that we should follow these requirements. Also these colours are simplistic but striking and will work well with the aesthetic of the campaign. This colour scheme will also transcend to the print material, photography and all aspects of the brief.

Typography

The typography used for the campaign will also be in Helvetica this was another type used in the Whistles branded guidelines and thought it would be most appropriate to fit in with the overall aesthetic of the brand and again to follow the guidelines.

Bottles

From our last meeting myself and Jasper wanted to use apothecary bottles and after more extensive research when apart we decided it was the best option because they are very unique, fit in with the style that Whistle's had presented through out perfume brands that influenced them and were the easiest to get hold of in terms of time, quantity and cost.

The bottle design is influenced by traditional apothecary bottles, which creates a versatile look and has a interesting application and overall aesthetic.
