BRIEF 03: PACKAGING RESEARCH

I decided to research into some jewellery packaging for some suggestions fir the brief, looking into styles and structure that I could incorporate.

Little details such as branded ribbon for packaging is a bold decorative feature, I also really like the pale pink tones in this branding which creates a feminine and sophisticated look.

Parcel bags in the Moxham brand are really modern and sophisticated, I like how the package in concealed with the brand logo and highlights to the consumer who the package is from and is really diverse from generic packaging.

Tiny details such as jewellery tags in the bing band branding is really simple but defines the brand by the application of the logo and is a nice decorative feature.

Dixi Jewellery uses dark and pale pink tones and an array of different packaging that is brought together by the use of a logo. I love how the jewellery is displayed in the packaging and is visually engaging.

These simplistic earring holders really highlight the design of the earring, as our brief is using a lot of crystal based jewellery this is something we could definitely consider!

I really like the alternative colours within this packaging that provides visual variation and highlights the different products in the jewellery collection, this is something we could look into doing.

Deliverbles

From my research I then discussed with Roxxie the potential outcomes we could have, we decide upon using the following for our deliverables.
  • Black Lid Necklace Boxes
  • Purple Pillow Boxes
  • Drawstring Bags
